Subject [Frogans technology - Frogans-awards] Frogans Tip for Day -8
To frogans-awards@lists.frogans.org
Date Mon, 30 May 2016 12:46:24 UTC

In the spirit of the Frogans Awards, I'm going to submit, here and on
[1]http://frogans-lab.com, a Frogans authoring tip each day through
June 6th, the day before the submission deadline.
So, with just ten days left before you submit your Fro-creation...

Frogans Tip for Day -8

Generic names for your fonts

There's no reason not to make your fontid naming scheme as familiar and
simple as possible. Although FSDL allows for using a broad range of
typographic fonts, you'll usually just use a few at a time.

For example, say your slide uses only DejaVu Sans in regular, bold and
italic. In that case, you can make your fontids 'reg,' 'bold' and
'ital,' respectively. These are quick to type and easy to remember.

Check back here tomorrow for the Frogans Tip for Day -7!
