The OP3FT will be in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from May 10 to 12 and in
Abidjan, Ivory Coast from May 13 to 15, 2016 to meet stakeholders of the
Sub-Saharan Internet ecosystem.
Following a first visit in the subregion late last year, Aurelien
Probst, Project Manager - Production, Philippe Collin, Head of
Innovation Fostering, and Laurent Ferrali will attend a series of
meetings with industry leaders and local organizations with a strong
entrepreneurial spirit in order to deepen their knowledge of the Frogans
project and to extend business opportunities related to the Frogans
technology.
These organizations include startup incubators and accelerators,
academic leaders as well as telecom carriers.
Furthermore, the OP3FT team will attend Devgans
(http://www.devgans.labtic.net/), the first hackathon dedicated to the
Frogans technology, organized by the Houphouet-Boigny University of
Abidjan on May 14 and 15, 2016. More details to come in a separate
announcement.
