Hello,
The OP3FT will be well-represented at the upcoming ICANN 51 Meeting in
Los Angeles, USA (12-16 October 2014):
- Stephane Van Gelder will be present in his capacity as Frogans project
Ambassador. He will notably represent the interests of the OP3FT in the
Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG);
- Tom Mackenzie, head of Stakeholder Relations, will be holding a series
of meetings with registrars, arbitration centers and many other actors
from around the world who make up the Internet ecosystem. Note that he
will also be giving a presentation of the Frogans project during the
At-Large Policy Roundtable on Wednesday 15, between 10 a.m. and 11:30
a.m. in the Hyatt hotel's Olympic Room;
- Benjamin Phister, head of technical specifications, who has
coordinated the drafting of the International Frogans Address Pattern
(IFAP), and Frogans Address Composition Rules (FACR) specifications,
will be attending the meetings related to IDNs. The IFAP and FACR
specifications form the basis of the Frogans addressing system and
Benjamin will be happy to answer any questions people may have regarding
this key aspect of the Frogans technology.
If you are attending the ICANN 51 Meeting in Los Angeles, don't hesitate
to get in contact with Stephane, Tom or Benjamin. They will be happy to
set up a meeting and answer any questions you might have about the
Frogans project. Write to Tom directly at tom.mackenzie@op3ft.org.
Best regards,
Amaury Grimbert
OP3FT
